TARBORO -- Ben Brann pitched a complete-game shutout to lead Greene Central to a 3-0 win on Tuesday night at Eastern Plains 2-A Conference opponent Tarboro.
Brann surrendered just two hits and recorded 10 strikeouts with three walks. Brann also led the Rams with three hits. Austin Batchelor contributed two hits and Chad Murphy hit a home run.
Greene Central (8-7 overall, 6-2 EPC) plays host to Kinston on Friday.
