Carroll provides offensive punch in Princeton's road win

AYDEN -- Taylor Carroll pounded out four hits and drove in five runs during Princeton's 14-0, mercy-rule win over Carolina 1-A Conference foe Ayden-Grifton on Thursday evening.
Charley Cox contributed three hits. Hailey Wood (two RBI) added two hits. Tori Paul knocked in two runs.
Wood emerged the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts in five innings.
The Bulldogs (10-2 overall, 4-0 CC) entertain Rosewood on Tuesday.
