Goldsboro boys fare well in Carolina 1A track affair

Goldsboro claimed eight events during a Carolina 1-A Conference tri-meet at Rosewood on Thursday afternoon.
The Cougars' James Clyde finished first in the 100 and 200 meters. Rasheid Malette prevailed in the 300-meter hurdles and finished tied for first in the high jump.
Victor Prezbindowski bested the competition in the 1,600 meters and Jacob Seate won the 3,200 meters. Antonio Futrelle seized the long jump.
Goldsboro also captured the 400-, 800- and 1,600-meter relays.
Team scores were not reported.
