GREENVILLE -- Eastern Wayne received offensive contributions throughout its lineup in a 10-7 victory over Heritage on Friday night at D.H. Conley in the Pitt County Classic.
Grayson Wells (two RBI), Zack Smith (RBI) and Ryan Warren each finished with two hits for the Warriors. Brandon Johnson (RBI), Ryan Kelly (RBI) and Ryan Faucette all added a hit. The 10 runs were a season-high for Eastern Wayne which entered the contest averaging two runs per game.
Smith also recorded the win on the mound.
The Warriors (5-7) continue play in the Pitt County Classic against Riverside Martin at 11 a.m. on Monday at Guy Smith Stadium.
