Lancaster, Warriors knock off Triton

ERWIN -- Eastern Wayne picked up an important 5-1 victory over Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe Triton on Friday evening.

Jeremy Lancaster earned the win on the mound.

Ryan Warren paced the Warriors with three hits, including a double, and three runs scored. Zack Smith contributed two hits and an RBI.

Brandon Johnson (RBI), Justin Lee (RBI), Ryan Kelly, Tyler Huetter and Grayson Wells each had a hit.

Eastern Wayne (3-6 overall, 2-3 ECC) plays host to North Lenoir on Tuesday.
