JV sports
* Baseball: Wayne Christian 4, Trinity Academy of Raleigh 3 -- Tyler Mozingo's two-RBI spearheaded the Eagles' late-inning rally. Brandon Price and Bryce Norman each recorded a hit before Mozingo stepped to the plate. Cameron Foss allowed three hits in a five-inning stint and Norman earned the save. The Eagles improved to 6-0 overall this season.
Middle schools
* Baseball: Wayne Country Day 5, Neuse Charter 2 -- Zach Barfield led the Chargers with two hits. Parker Smith, Matt Kierski and Jon Bryan each added a hit. Wayne Country Day improved to 1-1 overall.
