Lawrence Academy stops WCDS in 5 innings

Five-time defending state 1-A independent schools champion Lawrence Academy took advantage of eight Wayne Country Day errors in a 14-4, five-inning victory on Thursday afternoon.
Cody Neal tallied Wayne Country Day's lone hit and RBI. Neal also endured the loss on the mound.
The Chargers (1-4 overall) entertain Neuse Charter today.
