Wayne Christian's Combs hurls two-hit shutout

Victoria Combs threw a complete-game two-hitter and recorded three strikeouts in Wayne Christian's 16-0, non-conference triumph over Goldsboro High.

Georgia Parnell and Kelsey Kornegay each had an extra-base hit.

The Eagles (3-0 overall) visit Mt. Calvary on Thursday.
