Preps digest: JV, middle school news

JV sports
* Baseball: Wayne Christian 15, Hobgood Academy 5 -- Cameron Foss got the win on the pitcher's mound for Wayne Christian. Hunter Burt, Carlyle Smith and Tanner Rose led the Eagles with two hits apiece.
Middle schools
* Softball: Princeton 6, Benson 0 -- Beth Braswell led the Bulldogs from the pitcher's circle with a complete-game effort that included 12 strikeouts. Kortney Edwards delivered three hits, including a home run. Casey Mitchell also had three hits. Beth Braswell, Natalie Smith, Haley Jones and Riley Martin each had hits. Megan Bryant and Jessica Gautier had 1 hit for the team. Princeton (4-0 overall) plays host to Meadow on March 25.
