Hollingsworth picks up pitching win for SW

DUDLEY -- Jacob Hollingsworth pitched five shutout innings and Southern Wayne turned back Spring Creek 9-0 on Thursday afternoon.
Hollingsworth allowed just two hits and struck out three two earn the win on the mound. D.J. Skinner provided two scoreless innings of relief.
Clayton Cashwell paced the Saints' offense with three hits, including a triple, and two RBI. Garrad Whitfield added three hits and an RBI. Nathan Barwick chipped in two hits and three RBI. Kevin Williams also had a hit.
Logan Miller, Allen Coor, Matt Rogers and Kane Geelen all had a hit for the Gators.
Southern Wayne (4-2, 1-1 ECC) entertains Eastern Wayne today. Spring Creek (3-3) visits Dixon today.
