Spring Creek erupts early, handles Dixon

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek pushed across seven runs in the first inning of a 13-5 non-conference win over Dixon on Friday evening.
Alan Coor collected three hits and an RBI for the Gators. Logan Miller and Matt Rogers both contributed two hits and two RBI. Ian Ladd also had two hits. Chad Spurgeon (two RBI) and Trey Hammonds both supplied a hit. Hunter Walker had an RBI.
Spring Creek tallied 11 hits and benefited from five Bulldogs' errors.
Coor got the start on the mound and surrendered four runs (two earned) on three hits with two strikeouts and three walks in three innings of work. Miller and Hunter Walker both pitched two innings of relief.
The Gators (2-2 overall) travel to Jones Senior today.
