CBA nets second ECC victory of the season

FOUR OAKS -- Charles B. Aycock earned the match-clinching point at No. 3 doubles and slipped past South Johnston, 5-4, in an Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference match Monday afternoon.
The third-seeded tandem of Stanton Head-Nick Coston pulled out an 8-6 win for the short-handed Golden Falcons. Head also prevailed in singles play.
Chas Hooks, Jackson Yelverton and Austin Coerver each picked up a singles point.
Weather permitting, Aycock (2-1 overall, 2-0 ECC) plays host to Cleveland today.
