Rosewood beats archrival Princeton in 1-A opening-round play

Rosewood advanced in the NCHSAA 1-A playoffs with a 32-17 triumph over archrival Princeton on Monday evening.
The Eagles (17-7 overall) are the guest of Lakewood on Wednesday.
Alicia Burns and Lexi Mercer paced Rosewood's offense with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
