CBA boys claim road playoff win

AHOSKIE -- AJ Mundle flirted with a double-double and Charles B. Aycock slipped past Hertford County, 59-58, during opening-round action of the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 3-A playoffs Monday evening.
The Golden Falcons (14-12 overall) play host to D.H. Conley on Wednesday.
Mundle posted 15 points and nine rebounds. Cameron Johnson recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Williams contributed 12 points and eight rebounds.
Neil Clark chipped in eight points.
