PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock emerged victorious in seven of 11 contested individual matches and capitalized on 16 forfeits during a tri-meet sweep of Wilson Beddingfield and North Johnston on Tuesday evening.

The Golden Falcons defeated Beddingfield 69-12 and handed North Johnston a 63-15 setback.

Jaquan Walker (145 pounds) and Ryan Morton (182) each defeated their respective opponent in the Beddingfield match. Blake Davis, Zack Howard, Jacob Dickenson, Jordan Bailey, Daniel Romo, Charlie Mills, Jaret Paynter, Khaleil Owens, Broc Doyle and Landon Moore each received a forfeit.

The Bruins won one match and claimed one forfeit.

Howard, Dickenson, Owens and Moore each collected a pin against North Johnston. Romo squeezed out a 7-5 decision over the Panthers' Dyllan Creech at 132 pounds.

Bailey, Mills, Doyle, Morton, heavyweight Matt Teachey and Tanner Stevens each picked up a forfeit.

"We are ending the (regular) season on a good note and looking forward to the Eastern Carolina Conference tournament this weekend," Aycock head coach Marc Peck said. "We will miss (senior) Jorge Flores at 220, but we are as healthy as we have been all season."

Aycock (28-5 overall), the reigning ECC tournament champion, will play host to the season-ending event, which begins Saturday at 9 a.m.
