WCDS' Thomas hits 1,000-point mark

Wayne Country Day earned a 74-68 win over visiting Community Christian on Thursday night.
Deshar Thomas led the Chargers with 23 points and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career.
Joel Davis added 18 points, while Lee Atkinson supplied 13 points.
Wayne Country Day (15-7 overall) returns to action next Friday in the Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference tournament.
