Triton boys upend Southern Wayne

ERWIN -- Triton held off Southern Wayne for a 69-63 win in Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference play Tuesday night.
The Saints' Ronnell Outlaw led all scorers with 23 points to go with five steals. Angelo Burden contributed 12 points and Jaylen Roberts had 11. Tarvis Bradshaw added 10 points. Maurice McBride paced the Hawks (13-3, 5-1 ECC) with 18 points.
Southern Wayne (9-6 overall, 3-3) plays host to Cleveland on Friday.
