Eastern Wayne girls still perfect in ECC

Eastern Wayne scored the first 14 points of the game and never looked back in a 74-33 rout of Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference rival North Lenoir on Wednesday night.
Eastern Wayne improved to 16-1 overall and remained unbeaten in ECC play at 5-0.
Tianna Christopher led the Eastern Wayne offense with 17 points. Jasmine Covington added 15 points and Shontel Monk chipped-in 14 points.
Erica Lee and Amanda Bizzell each finished with eight points for the Hawks.
North Lenoir (2-14, 0-4) travels to Cleveland on Friday, while Eastern Wayne plays host to South Johnston.
