Chargers sweep Knights on senior day in volleyball

Wayne Country Day concluded its regular season with a 25-12, 25-18, 25-14 win over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference foe Greenfield on Tuesday evening.
Rachel Uzzell distributed 19 assists for the Chargers. Sarah Crooks supplied seven kills, four digs and two aces. Jessica Zhou added four aces, four kills and three digs.
Hannah Pearson had seven kills, three digs and a block.
Wayne Country Day (10-8 overall) plays host to Greenfield on Thursday in the first round of the CPIC tournament.
