JV football: So. Wayne 36, North Lenoir 14

DUDLEY -- Tyaire Allen rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns as Southern Wayne rolled past North Lenoir 36-14 on Thursday night.
Allen scored on touchdown runs of 75, 55 and 50 yards, and he also threw a two-point conversion pass to James Leonard. Leonard added 76 yards on the ground with a 5-yard touchdown run. He also rushed for a two-point conversion.
Shamar Faison contributed 92 yards rushing, including a 60-yard touchdown run. Xavier Pearsall added 60 yards rushing. Marquaill Roddick caught a pair of two-point conversions from Carter Jones.
Lowell Deans recorded 12 tackles and Josh Jernigan and Roddick each had nine tackles. Darion Brinson added seven tackles and William Pigg had a fumble recovery.
The Saints (5-3 overall) visit Charles B. Aycock on Oct. 25.
