Warriors complete unbeaten run in ECC

KINSTON -- Eastern Wayne finished unbeaten in Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference play with a 9-0 win over North Lenoir on Thursday at Bill Fay Park.
Savannah Sutton, Faith Sutton, McKenna Dove, Cameron Dive, Brittney Brinson and Debbie Mitchell each supplied a singles victory for the Warriors. The tandems of Sutton-Sutton, Dove-Dove and Brinson-Mitchell also won.
Eastern Wayne (14-2 overall, 12-0 ECC) begins tournament play Wednesday at Herman Park.
