Chargers dealt second straight CPIC setback

NEW BERN -- Epiphany handed Wayne Country Day a 25-20, 25-12, 25-14 loss in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference match Tuesday evening.
Rachel Uzzell tallied 13 assists for the Chargers. Sarah Crooks had eight kills and four digs. Hannah Pearson added six kills and Jessica Zhou contributed five digs.
Wayne Country Day (7-3 overall, 0-2 CPIC) visits Freedom Christian on Thursday.
