Aaron Craft has been named Mount Olive's first-ever head strength and conditioning coach, it was announced by director of athletics Jeff Eisen. Craft will also serve as assistant director of the Pope Wellness Center on the MOC campus.

"We are very pleased to have Aaron on board as our first strength and conditioning coach," said Eisen. "He brings a lot of collegiate experience with a variety of sports."

Eisen added, "We are appreciative to Student Affairs and the Pope Wellness Center for working with us to make this position possible. The addition of a strength and conditioning coach will help bring our program to the next level."

Prior to arriving at Mount Olive, Craft served as a strength and conditioning coach at the Division I level. He was assistant strength and conditioning coach at Elon University after serving as assistant sports performance coach at College of Charleston. Craft was also an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Wake Forest University and University of North Carolina-Greensboro, as well as head football strength and conditioning coach at Winston-Salem State University.

Along with his collegiate experience, Craft also served as a strength and conditioning intern with Hendrick Motorsports Strength and Conditioning.

Craft earned his bachelor of science degree in kinesiology at Longwood University and his master's in exercise science/strength and conditioning at Applachian State Universty, where he was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant.
