* PRINCETON -- Adam Haggerty recorded a triple-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks to lead Spring Creek to a 54-43 win over Eastern Wayne on Tuesday evening in the consolation game of the Bulldog Christmas Invitational.
Trey Hammonds and James Lofton both contributed 12 points for the Gators. Wyatt Janning added nine points and Rashawn Edwards had seven points. Haggerty was named to the all-tournament team.
"I was very proud of our guys," Spring Creek head coach Taylor Jones said. "We had a balanced attack offensively and our perimeter defense on Lee Atkinson by James Lofton and Logan Scott was what set the tone from the beginning of the game."
The Gators (4-5) entertain East Carteret on Jan. 3, while the Warriors visit Goldsboro on Thursday.
