* Dec. 3 from 3:30-7 p.m. at AMF Boulevard Lanes in Goldsboro. Clinic includes one-hour presentation of lane play and ball motion, and 2 1/2 hours of on-lane instruction. The fee is $75 and limited to the first 24 students. The guest lecturer is Bob Learn Jr., who is a former PBA Tour champion and USBC Silver Certified. Mount Olive College
* Annual Winter Classic -- Three-day, 6-on-6 soccer event is Dec. 2-4 at Kornegay Arena on the Mount Olive College campus. Age groups are 6-Under, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U. Each team is guaranteed three games. Each player is responsible for furnishing their own shoes, socks, shorts, shinguards and matching numbered shirts. Each player must also have a medical liability release and photography release on file at the start of the tournament.
