Prep football games changed

Weather forecasts predict Hurricane Irene to make landfall somewhere around North Carolina either late Friday evening or during the day Saturday.
The impending rain has prompted area athletics directors to move their respective JV and varsity football games up one day.
Today's JV schedule:
* Eastern Wayne at Goldsboro
* Southern Wayne at Northern Nash
* Lakewood at Rosewood
* Ayden-Grifton at Greene Central
* James Kenan at Jones Senior
Nine of 10 varsity contests slated for Friday were moved to Thursday.
Spring Creek is the guest of Coastal Plains member Lejeune and kickoff is 6:30 p.m. Midway travels to Princeton, while James Kenan plays host to Jones Senior. Those games begin at 7 p.m.
Here are the remaining games with 7:30 p.m. starts:
* Lakewood at North Duplin
* Goldsboro at Eastern Wayne
* Northern Nash at Southern Wayne
* Rosewood at Wake Christian
* North Lenoir at West Montgomery
* Greene Central at Ayden-Grifton
Charles B. Aycock entertains Wilson Hunt on Friday. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
