Lassiter, Johnson lead Lady Cougars on road

CALYPSO -- North Duplin gave Goldsboro all it could handle for three quarters before falling to Goldsboro 42-29 on Friday night.
Talaya Lassiter paced the Cougars' offense with 14 points. Brandy Johnson added 12 points in the win.
Jessica Jones led the Rebels' attack with 13 points.
North Duplin (2-11 overall, 2-4 CC) entertains Princeton on Tuesday night. Goldsboro (13-3, 5-0) travels to Rosewood the same evening.
