Faith takes two
WENDELL -- Faith Christian captured a pair of victories in the Southeastern Invitational tournament over the weekend before eventually falling to Raleigh Christian in the championship game on Saturday night.
The Conquerors defeated Hilltop Christian 55-45 in the opening round behind 22 points from all-tournament selection Silas Denlinger and 18 points from Aaron Hill.
Faith defeated Gateway Christian 43-34 on the strength of 18 points from Denlinger.
Raleigh Christian captured a 66-64 victory in final. Denlinger, Wes Caudle and Aaron Hill each scored eight points in the defeat.
Faith Christian (2-2 overall) entertains Bethel Christian on Nov. 29.
