Wayne County North captured a pair of one-run victories over Wilson in Junior American Legion baseball action on Sunday afternoon.
Wayne North claimed game one 4-3 on the strength of a complete-game pitching performance from Logan Wicks, who scattered five hits.
Jake May plated the game's winning run with a sacrifice fly that brought home Joe Herlihy in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Wayne North took game two in similar fashion.
Wesley Stewart delivered a sacrifice fly that scored Wesley Capps and gave the home team a 2-1 victory.
Nolan James tossed a complete game en route to the mound win.
Wayne North travels to Charles B. Aycock on Tuesday.
