MOUNT OLIVE -- A diverse group representing five sports and four different decades comprise the fourth installment of the Mount Olive College Athletics Hall of Fame.

The four-person class includes Heather Parker Collier, legendary men's basketball coach Billy Lee, soccer standout Matt Dudley and baseball star Pat Riley. The quartet will be inducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hennessee Room as part of the school's Alumni Weekend/Pickle Classic festivities.

"We are pleased to be adding four individuals with outstanding athletic careers to the Mount Olive College Athletics Hall of Fame," said athletics director Jeff Eisen. "This is a diverse group, representing different sports and different eras, but all share in common the fact that they distinguished themselves as student-athletes at Mount Olive."

Collier was the first-ever MOC athlete to earn Academic All-American honors. A two-time all-conference outfielder, Collier still holds the school's single-season records for most hits and most triples, and career record for most triples.

A charismatic speaker, Lee amassed more than 400 victories on the high school and collegiate basketball scenes in 30 seasons on the sideline. He guided Campbell University to the 1992 Big South Conference championship and the program's lone NCAA tournament berth.

Dudley remains the Trojans' all-time goal scorer and career scoring leader in men's soccer history. A three-time all-conference selection, Dudley recorded 40 career goals and 93 career points. His 18 goals in 1996 are the second-highest, single-season total recorded by an MOC player.

Riley participated on MOC's baseball team that came within one game of advancing to the National Junior College World Series, just three seasons after the baseball program was reinstated. An All-America honorable mention pick, Riley was the 1983 Eastern Conference player of the year and finished his collegiate career at Western Carolina University.
