ROCKY MOUNT -- Alyssa Hill buried two free throws with 18 seconds remaining to seal Faith Christian's 39-35 victory over Bethel Christian in the N.C. Christian Schools Association Coastal 2-A region championship game Saturday.
The Conquerors (13-6 overall) earned the region's No. 1 seed for the state tournament, which begins later this week in the Winston-Salem area.
Lindsey Godwin paced Faith Christian's offense with 13 points. Hill added nine points and Christina Powell chipped in seven points.
Faith Christian has won 10 of its last 11 games.
