Goldsboro Sting 94
Adrian Thompson tallied the game-winning goal in the 5th minute and the Sting defeated Johnston Crusaders 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Bryan Johnson converted a penalty kick in the 15th minute. Teammate Mitchell Kasper concluded the Sting's scoring with a goal in the 25th minute off Johnson's assist.
Sting keepers P.J. Rhodes (one save) and Preston Daly (two saves) combined for the shutout in goal.
The Sting concluded their fall season 3-5-1 overall.
