Gators fall to Ayden-Grifton

AYDEN -- Perhaps the lone bright spot was a late touchdown.
Spring Creek allowed 21 first-quarter points and fell 55-8 to Carolina 1-A Conference foe Ayden-Grifton on Friday evening.
The Chargers (5-3, 2-0 Carolina 1-A) led 41-0 at the half. The Gators (0-8, 0-2) only score came on late touchdown pass from Nick Hatem to Ricky Brayboy.
Spring Creek hosts Rosewood next Friday.
