BANNER ELK -- Frank Boateng scored the tying goal in the 75th minute and Mount Olive College held on for a 1-1 double overtime tie against No. 20-ranked Lees-McRae on Saturday evening.

The Trojans are 1-0-1 against nationally ranked teams this season.

After a scoreless first half, Lees-McRae took a 1-0 lead early in the second half. Boateng, who scored the game-winning goal in overtime earlier this year against then-No. 13 Limestone, headed in Chris McClaugherty's corner kick to even the match.

The Trojans (8-4-1 overall, 2-3-1 CC) have gone to overtime in each of their last two matches. Mount Olive defeated UNC Pembroke 1-0 in overtime Wednesday.

The Trojans put their four-match win home win streak on the line Wednesday against Coker (S.C.) College. Game time is 7 p.m. at Amon Field.
