* Hobbton volleyball d. Spring Creek 25-15, 25-8 -- Stacie Harris served three aces for the Gators, who were playing their season opener.
* Wayne Christian volleyball d. Wayne Country Day 25-9, 24-26, 25-14 -- The Eagles' Katie Isenhower supplied two aces, while teammate Britney O'Hara contributed one ace. It was the season opener for both teams. Sterling Coggins led Wayne Country Day with 10 assists. Erika Martell added 10 kills.
* Midway volleyball d. Rosewood 25-14, 25-17 -- Rosewood's Rachael Kornegay served for nine of her team's points in the loss. The Eagles fall to 0-1 on the season.
* Wayne Christian boys soccer 6, Wayne Country Day 2 -- Kyle Sasser recorded the hat trick (three goals) for the Eagles. Bryson Tart scored twice and Chris Easom added goal. Jack Langston and Miller Gerard tallied one goal apiece for the Chargers.
