Gators easily dispatch Hobbton

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek battled through a tough first game and went on to defeat Hobbton 25-19, 25-8, 25-8 in non-conference volleyball action Monday afternoon.
Randi Oxendine led the Gator attack with 15 assists and five service aces. Shaquita Brooks contributed 12 kills and two aces. Brittany Collier played a solid all-around game with five aces, three digs and three assists.
Kristin Smith provided seven kills and five aces.
The Gators (1-0 overall) travel to Hobbton, which competes in the Class 1-A Super Six Conference, today.
