Wayne County Boys/Girls Club 10, Rosewood Purple 9 -- Brenton Billups tossed a five-inning, one-hitter and notched nine strikeouts for the Boys and Girls Club. T.O. West emerged the top hitter, while catcher Zach Phillips and second baseman Willie Mobley played well defensively.

Lane Tree Ladies Association

WILSON -- Donna Adams claimed second in low net in 2nd Flight play, while Linda Hilburn took second in low net among 4th Flight competitors in an Eastern Ladies League tournament contested at Wilson Country Club.

Hilburn emerged the game-of-the-week and low net champion for weekly play at Lane Tree Golf Course. Hilburn and Linda Watson shared low putt honors.

Walnut Creek Ladies Association

Elisabeth Bentley earned play-of-the-day accolades during weekly tournament play at Walnut Creek Country Club.

Kathy Woodard seized low gross and Mary Ann Sutton claimed low net. Novella Zambelli took low putts.

During the Eastern Ladies League tournament at Wilson Country Club, Betty Holloway captured low putts in the 4th Flight.
