It was the final poll of the regular season.

Mount Olive (39-14) captured its seventh Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference championship and earned an automatic berth in the South Atlantic Regional of the 2006 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

USC-Aiken moved ahead of Mount Olive after winning two-of-three games over Armstrong Atlantic State over the weekend.

In addition to Mount Olive, No. 7 Erskine and No. 10 Barton represent the CVAC.

Georgia College and State and Tampa (Fla.) hold down the top two spots for the third consecutive week.

Georgia College and State and Mount Olive are among six South Atlantic Region teams ranked in this week's top 25, joining No. 5 Francis Marion (S.C.), No. 15 Columbus State (Ga.), No. 16 USC-Aiken and No. 23 Armstrong Atlantic State (Ga.). The Peach Belt Conference Tournament begins Thursday at Aiken, S.C.
