MOUNT OLIVE -- Teneal Boone led four players in double figures with 20 points as Mount Olive celebrated Senior Night with an 80-53 victory over Pfeiffer in Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference women's basketball Monday at Kornegay Arena.

Monday's contest was the final regular season home game for Boone and fellow senior Anita Rogers. The Trojans have won four of their last five games.

Mount Olive (14-12 overall, 9-10 CVAC) jumped out to a 9-2 lead as seniors Boone and Rogers combined for the Trojans' first five points. Pfeiffer (13-13, 11-8) scored seven unanswered points to tie the game, but Boone's layup broke the tie and Rogers' two free throws capped a 21-6 run to give the Trojans a 30-15 lead with 4:52 left in the half.

Mount Olive built the lead to as many as 17 points before Erin Crowder's three-pointer pulled Pfeiffer within 36-22. Prichard answered with a three-pointer and Meaghan Vanderhorst scored the final eight points in a 10-0 run, including back-to-back fastbreak layups off of steals by Prichard as the Trojans built the lead to 24 points. Ashley Crenshaw hit two free throws for Pfeiffer with 14 seconds left as Mount Olive went into the locker room with a 46-24 halftime lead.

Prichard's three-pointers extended her streak to 14 consecutive games with at least one three-pointer. Vanderhorst scored all of her 11 points in the first half.

The Trojans built the lead to 25 points shortly after the break, but Tamara Clay scored eight of Pfeiffer's first 10 points of the second half as the Falcons cut the lead to 51-34 with 14:09 left in the contest. Boone and Prichard then combined for the next eight Trojan points and Sierra Medeiros' putback with 9:10 remaining capped a 10-2 run to extend Mount Olive's lead to 61-36. The Trojans led by as many as 31 points in the second half.

Medeiros finished with 11 points, while Prichard added 10 points and a game-high six steals. Medeiros pulled down eight rebounds, as did Boone, whose streak of five consecutive double-doubles was snapped. The Trojans turned 31 Pfeiffer turnovers into 30 points.

Clay was Pfeiffer's top scorer with 19 points.

Mount Olive is off until Saturday when the Trojans travel to Banner Elk to take on Lees-McRae in a CVAC matchup. Tipoff is 2 p.m. Pfeiffer plays host to Anderson Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
