Wayne Christian girls claim 4th straight win
Wayne Christian's Brittany Sullivan tallied a season-high 19 points with three steals and two assists in the Eagles' 64-22 win over Norlina in Carolina Christian 1-A Conference play on Saturday.
Winners of four straight, Wayne Christian (5-11 overall) improved to 4-4 in league action.
Michelle Krug added 12 points, six steals, four assists and three rebounds for the Eagles, while Stacie McCary had six points and eight rebounds and Brooke Norris had five points and nine rebounds. Everyone on the Wayne Christian roster scored.
The Eagles host Wayne Country Day on Tuesday in a non-conference contest.

to Bethel
Wayne Christian's Hanna Kaler scored 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the Eagles' loss to Bethel Christian on Saturday in non-conference play.
Wayne Christian fell to 11-2 overall, heading into Tuesday's non-conference contest at home against Wayne Country Day.
Shelle Anderson scored six points and pulled down six rebounds for the Eagles.

falls to Norlina
Wayne Christian's Jordan Yelverton scored 22 points in the Eagles' 66-58 loss at home to undefeated Norlina on Saturday at Clifford Gymnasium.
Wayne Christian (9-8, 4-4 Carolina Christian 1-A Conference) trailed 51-35 after three quarters, but rallied to get within five in the fourth, before Norlina (13-0) pulled away.
T.A. Brannan added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles, while Billy Smith had seven rebounds, seven assists and five points.
Wayne Christian faces Wayne Country Day at home on Tuesday in non-conference action.
Faith suffers
first loss
RALEIGH -- Faith Christian's Josh Brannan dropped in 18 points as the Conquerors suffered a 68-65 loss at Raleigh Christian on Friday.
The loss was Faith's first of the year as the Conquerors fell to 13-1 heading into Tuesday's contest at home against Falls Road-Rocky Mount.
John Spencer and Aaron Sladick added 14 points each for Faith, while T.J. Sasser added nine points.
Jarian Pugh and Jordan Brown had 22 and 16 points, respectively, for Raleigh Christian.
Faith had 36 turnovers in the loss.

tops Norlina
Wayne Christian's Eric Williams poured in 23 points and pulled down 19 rebounds -- posting his 12th consecutive double-double -- in the Eagles' 46-22 win at home over Norlina on Saturday.
The Eagles led by just three after the first half, but outscored the visitors 32-11 after intermission.
Colton Woods added eight points, five steals and four rebounds for Wayne Christian (8-4, 5-1 Carolina Christian 1-A Conference), while John Norris dished out six assists.
Chase Davis scored 10 points for Norlina.
The Eagles host Wayne Country Day on Tuesday.
Faith tallies
road win
Faith Christian's Taylor Stocks had 16 points in the Conquerors 45-28 win at Raleigh Christian on Friday.
Austin Webber added 10 points for Faith, which hosts Falls Road-Rocky Mount on Tuesday.
