SCHS Booster Club

The Spring Creek High School Booster Club will meet today at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

SWHS Booster Club

The Southern Wayne High School Booster Club will meet today at 7 p.m. at the school. Anyone interested in Southern Wayne athletics is encouraged to attend.

EWHS Warrior Club

The Eastern Wayne High School Warrior Club will meet today at 7:30 p.m. in the school media center.



ECAA referee clinics

Goldsboro Sting boys soccer tryouts

The Goldsboro Sting boys spring travelling soccer team tryouts will be held for U-15, U-14 and U-13 boys from 1-3 p.m. on Dec. 17 at the YMCA Soccer Complex. The birthday cut-off for each age group is as follows: U-15 -- born on or after Aug. 1, 1990; U14 -- born on or after Aug. 1, 1991; U-13 -- born on or after Aug. 1, 1992. Goldsboro Lady Sting soccer tryouts

The Goldsboro Lady Sting will hold a practice/tryout for the U-14 team on Dec. 17 from noon-3 p.m. at the YMCA Soccer Complex. Girls who have already participated in try outs and those who are interested in playing are welcome to attend. Also, the U-12 team will be holding a practice/tryout at a date to be determined. Boys and Girls Club basketball

The Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County will begin accepting registration for boys and girls basketball Mon.-Fri. until Dec. 26. The cost is $45 for members and $55 for non-members. For more information, contact Jeff Barnes at 735-2358.

Goldsboro Parks and Rec youth basketball

The Goldsboro Parks and Recreation will begin accepting registration for boys and girls youth basketball Mon.-Fri. until Dec. 29 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for ages 6-8 and 9-11. Junior Tennis League
