KINSTON -- Wednesday's deciding game five of the Carolina League Championship Series between Frederick and Kinston has been rained out because of Hurricane Ophelia. The game has been rescheduled for today night at 7 p.m.
The best-of-five series is tied at two after Kinston held on for a 4-3 win in game four Tuesday. The Indians are looking to repeat as champions by coming back from an 0-2 series deficit for the second straight year, while Frederick is seeking its first title since 1990.
Tonight's game will feature the same starters as in game one of this series, with Nick Pesco (0-1, 3.00 ERA) starting for Kinston and Brian Finch (1-0, 1.29 ERA) starting for Frederick.
