FLORENCE, S.C. - Jessica Johnson tossed a no-hitter as Francis Marion defeated Mount Olive 8-0 to complete a doubleheader sweep in non-conference softball Thursday at Florence. Francis Marion (11-1) broke the game open with a four-run third inning, highlighted by Betsy Bouknkight's bases-loaded triple to give the Patriots a 7-0 lead.
The Trojans got on the scoreboard in the fifth inning when Thomas drew a two-out walk, went to second on Bright's single and scored on Wilson's single to left. Thomas, Bright and Wilson had two hits apiece for the Trojans.
