Eastern Wayne's girls turned in a dominant performance, while Southern Wayne's boys won their second meet in a row in a four-team, swim meet contested in the Goldsboro Family YMCA pool.

Eastern Wayne's girls won ten of the 12 events contested on Tuesday with Denise Moulas (200 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and Ashley Robinson (200 individual medley, 500 freestyle) winning two individual events each. The Warriors also won all five relay events.

Aycock's Garret Forrest claimed the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle.

In the boys meet, Southern Wayne won five of the 11 events, setting two school records along the way. Fitch Carrere set a school record in the 100 butterfly (1:31.53), while the 400 freestyle relay team's 4:26 was also a school-best performance.

Eastern Wayne's Rob Cagle took the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, while Aycock's Kalvin Leroy won the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle.
