Wayne County Dixie Youth rallies to win

Wayne County's Dixie Youth 11-12 year-old team rallied from a 10-1 deficit to win 13-12 in the bottom of the sixth against Sampson County National at the District tournament at Mar Mac Community Ball Park.
Cambric Moye led the way for Wayne County with four hits, including two doubles. Mel Winn had a double and went 2-for-2. Zack Beacham, Lamar Best, Michael Johnson and Hunter Newsome had two hits for Wayne County. Gerrell Davis provided a three-run home run.
Wayne County returns to action tonight at 7 p.m. against Sampson County American.
