Men's Volleyball Mount Olive Posts 1-2 Record

BANNER ELK -- Mount Olive posted a 1-2 record at the Lees-McRae College Men's Volleyball Tournament over the weekend.
The Trojans opened with a 30-20, 30-20, 30-23 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic Friday. Saturday morning, the Trojans fell to Eastern Mennonite 30-18, 30-20, 28-30, 30-26. In the afternoon, Mount Olive fell to tournament host Lees-McRae 30-14, 30-28, 27-30, 30-22.
Mount Olive returns to action February 14 as the Trojans compete in the Virginia Tech Spring Tournament at Blacksburg, Va. The Trojans will play host to a men's volleyball tournament February 28 at College Hall.
Participating teams are to be announced.
Men's volleyball is currently a club sport at Mount Olive and will earn varsity status beginning next season.
