VIVIAN 'PUFF' WILLIAMS

Died Aug. 29, 2018

Ms. Vivian "Puff" Williams, 70, 501 11th St., Goldsboro, N.C., died at home Wednesday Aug. 29, 2018.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at Bear Creek Association Headquarters, located at 1800 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C., with wlder Vance Dunn officiating. Entombment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sep. 4, 2018, from 3 to 7 p.m., with family hour being 6 to 7 p.m., at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.

"Puff," as she was affectionately known by relatives and friends, attended school at Savannah High School in Grifton, N.C.

She was a licensed cosmetologist, and practiced for more than 30 years. She worked at both Cherry Hospital and Britthaven Nursing Home for more than 15 years.

Vivian was a member of Central Heights Free Will Baptist Church.

Vivian leaves to cherish her everlasting memories her son, Antonio Williams (Mieko) of Raleigh N.C.; daughter, Tonyetta Williams of Goldsboro, N.C.; son, Kendrick Williams (Tarsha) of Raleigh, N.C.; sisters, Iris Briggs of Kinston, N.C., and Dorothy McCoy (Ralph) of Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Rashid Williams of Goldsboro, N.C., Julian Williams of Clayton, N.C., and Justin Williams of New York City; great grandson, Casen Williams of Raleigh, N.C.; eight sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
