Pearnell Spruill Lane, 73, Pikeville, died Saturday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Generation Church. Burial will be Tuesday in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
She was born July 13, 1945, in Wayne County to William and Pearl Haley Spruill. She was married to George Lane.
She is survived by two children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 113 North Landing Drive, where it will assemble ifor the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
