Robert Dale Murat, 73, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.
Dale was born in Mooresville, Ind., April 4, 1945, to the late Carl Fredrick Murat and Violet Murat.
He had retired from Horne Storage after 30 years of service, and later worked as a repairman of lawn mowers at his home.
Dale was always concerned about his customers, and would do anything to make them happy.
A graveside service will be Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Dale is survived by his wife, Maye Ellen Murat; children, Jennifer Walker (Rex) of Danville, Ind., Tricia Parker (Ross) of Mooresville, Ind., Kimberly Hawley (Jimmy) of Goldsboro and Rodney Murat of Mooresville, Ind.; brother, Donald Gene Murat (Earlene) of Fort Myers, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Wayne Murat; sister, Barbara Jane Barnett; and nephew, Randy Murat.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour funeral Home and other times at his home.
