DOROTHY WIGGINS MOZINGO

Dorothy Wiggins Mozingo, 89, Goldsboro, went to be with her Lord Easter Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Dorothy was born in Wayne County Aug. 30, 1928, to the late Walter Wiggins Sr. and Effie Strickland Wiggins. She was married to the late John Mozingo.
Dorothy owned and operated Thomas Office Supply in downtown Goldsboro for 62 years.
Dorothy was devoted to her family and her church, Oak Heights Pentecostal Holiness Church, and now, Rosewood Worship Center.
Even in her declining health, Dorothy continued to exemplify God's love and a heart for serving others.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Dorothy's life at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with pastor Casey Shearin officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Larry Mozingo and wife, Donna, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Nichole Mozingo and husband, Mike Shearin, Matthew Mozingo and wife, Jennifer, and Mark Mozingo and wife, Lindzy; great-grandchildren, Casey Shearin, Zoe Shearin, Katelyn Franks, Meredith Mozingo and Mia Mozingo; brother, Walter Wiggins Jr. and wife, Clevie, of Rocky Mount; and several special nieces, nephews and cousins she loved very much.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Alice Raynor, Lora O'Neal, Carrie Walker and Lorraine Wiggins.
